Good habits like brushing teeth before bedtime are good and positive, no doubt. These habits are created as a result of the everyday repetitions. The matter is that usually these are the parents who give an example and teach the kids to do routine affairs. That is why it is important to remember that a child looks at you and repeat after you. How to work out a good habit? It is better to be logical in the way of raising a child. Proper age for the good habits is needed. Even if you wish your child to hold the spoon as early as it is possible, he/she is not able to do it until his/her reflexes are developed enough in order to seize this spoon and hold it firmly. A habit is a kind of behavior that is repeated. So, if your child is unlucky to do something from the very first time, repeat it again and again and choose the wise time periods between the attempts.
Sometimes children share with their habits and even feel proud if they are more successful in some kind of activity. For example, some children do their home task quickly and go out to play. Do not compare your child with those children pointing out that your kid is worse or less-disciplined. A child is not guilty in his/her bad habits as you are that person who raises a kid. Make everything possible to help your child to discipline and work out only positive habits.
